MATCH was designed by moms for moms. MATCH is based on the Lord's instruction to, "Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it."(Proverbs 22:6) The MATCH program is a series of lessons for a mothers' group that assists moms in their efforts to train their children in God's ways. MATCH equips moms each month with all the ideas, tools and resources needed to encourage and teach specific Christian values at home. At the same time, moms also have an opportunity to relax, refresh and enjoy Christian fellowship.

During the first half of each meeting, moms discuss a specific character trait to focus on at home in the coming month. Moms share a devotion and a time for reflection. They then discuss how to teach that value at home and review activity ideas and resource suggestions. The trait is examined fully, and multiple suggestions are provided for instruction at home. MATCH repeats the lessons and scripture in several forms, following God's instruction to, "Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds... teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up." (Deuteronomy 11:18-19a) Moms leave the meeting armed with scripture and many ideas and materials.

During the last half of the meeting, Moms complete a keepsake project which will be used as a tool to start a new family tradition reinforcing the trait of the month. Moms thoroughly enjoy this time to relax and work on something creative. They take great pride in finishing the projects and eagerly await making use of their handiwork. The relaxed atmosphere of this time also provides a wonderful opportunity for fellowship and sharing of concerns and ideas.
